Majesty was composed to honour Her Late Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II’s 90th Birthday, and was premiered at the annual Queen’s Birthday Parade of 2015.
 
Now, after the death of our beloved Queen in 2022, the meaning of the word Majesty - the quality of being stately, dignified, beautiful and impressive – is even more poignant. It epitomises everything she meant to the British people and the global audience she attracted.
 
The music is both celebratory and thought provoking. Its structure allows the listener to enjoy the grandeur and to reflect on Her Late Majesty's life of service.
